Slow Cooker Pulled Pork Sandwiches

I haven't blogged a recipe in a while so I thought I would do another one of my favorites today. As we get into the warmer months I love recipes that can be thrown in my slow cooker. These Slow Cooker Pulled Pork sandwiches are one of my favorites all year long but even more so in the spring and summer months. If you give it a try make sure and come back and comment on what you thought! :)

INGREDIENTS:
1 (2 pound) pork tenderloin
1 (12 fluid ounce) can or bottle root beer
1 (18 ounce) bottle your favorite barbecue sauce (We like Cattlemen's Gold best)
8 hamburger buns, split and lightly toasted (We like toasted onion buns)
Optional 8 slices of provolone cheese

DIRECTIONS:
Place the pork tenderloin in a slow cooker; pour the root beer over the meat. Cover and cook on low until well cooked and the pork shreds easily, 6 to 7 hours.
*Note: the actual length of time may vary according to individual slow cooker. (Mine is done in 5 on auto set)
Drain well.
Stir in barbecue sauce.
Toast or broil buns with cheese on top slice.
Serve over hamburger buns and enjoy!
